DYC 2026 — Bangalore

Bible Quiz

  • A One team per parish, consisting of 3 participants.
  • B There will be prelims and the shortlisted teams will go to the finals.
  • C Bible version to be referred is NIV.
  • D
    Portions for the quiz are as follows:
    • i. Daniel & Revelation — 75%
    • ii. General Bible & Church History — 25%
  • E Specific rules for the rounds will be given during the competition.
  • F Quiz master's decision will be final.

Debate

  • A The topic for debate will be announced on the first day of the conference.
  • B Every parish should have 2 participants who will respectively speak "FOR" and "AGAINST" the topic given.
  • C There will be two rounds. (Subject to change based on the number of teams.)
Disclaimer: Usage of inappropriate language will lead to immediate disqualification from the event.

Talent Night

  • A One team per parish.
  • B Minimum number of participants is 2.
  • C Time limit — 10 minutes + 2 minutes prep time. Extra time will attract negative points.
  • D The performance by each parish should be based on the conference theme — AURA.
  • E Usage of fire or water on stage is strictly prohibited.
  • F Any special requirements should be informed to the organisers on or before 15th May 2026.
  • G Decision of the Judges will be final.
